What you saw in the Russell-Rhys scene was considerably less than Mariel Hemingway showed in "Civil Wars" in 1993, and less than Charlotte Ross showed in "NYPD Blue" in 2003. (The FCC fined every ABC affiliate that showed Ross $27,500, and it was later overturned on appeal.)

Maybe if you're adding up the total skin shown, but the idea of a 69 is way, way beyond the two examples you cited.

It's a good thing one of them didn't have to keep a foot on the floor like they did back in the '40s. That could have been disastrously awkward.

If someone tries to fight against the nudity and sexuality of Keri Russell, any advertiser that buys into that boycott is going to see a counter-boycott the fury of which has never been known to mankind.

This show is too good for the nudity to be all anyone cares/talks about.

The nudity isn't good enough either. True Detective, maybe.

Wall Street Journal blog shows a bit of ignorance in its recap of last night's episode, asking . . .

"Why does everyone at the Residentura call people by their first and last names? Is that a Russian thing?"

Russians address people by their first and patronymic (middle) names in polite and formal settings.

Yeah, I've very limited knowledge of Russia and knew that.

I liked last night's episode but still think Paige is the weak point. That actress is in over her head.

I missed what address Paige was looking up?

She's not great, but she's no Glen Bishop, who makes Paige look like Meryl Streep.

The postcard was from Elizabeth while she was away. I doubt the address was legitimate.

But Glen never had this level of a role. And Kiernen Shipka is tremendous.
