I had some timeline issues with this one.

Altercation with Mossad agent happens at night.

So in the next 9-10 hours Elizabeth not only spends a drunk evening with Martha, but gets the files from Brad (in a scene where it's more dusk than night), and all the negotiations about the "deal" are worked out and executed in time for the parents to be home and cuddling on the couch when kids wake up ("Uh, Dad, where WERE you last night, anyway," we likely won't hear Paige saying).

I didn't question any of the timeline.

My biggest question of the past two episodes is the sailor. Why isn't he weirded out or questioning this woman he met?

I understand he believes her story. I can even buy that he's willing to copy personnel files to help her.
But he didn't think the hand job in the car was strange? Then she declares she's too scarred from her rape and can't see him anymore - as soon as he turns over the files? And his reaction is sad bemusement or sad befuddlement?

    He's lonely. She's hot.

I, too, think this was one of the best episodes.

I loved the line about Reagan wearing a cowboy hat and scaling the walls.

I've been singing The Gambler with an Israeli accent in my head all morning ...

"You've got to know when to hkold them, know when to fold them."

I love the show. That was one thread that didn't hold up for me.
I understand the dynamic the show is establishing between, but I still don't think it plays true.

I had some timeline concerns as well. Maybe it's supposed to take place over two days.

I said to my wife last night: How did Philip and Elizabeth do their jobs when Paige and Henry were 4 and 1? Were they just really good sleepers?

I'm so glad people are talking about this show. It's appointment TV for me and the significant other. If one of us watched it without the other, I think we'd consider it cheating.

I'm going to do what I always do when I love something: Nitpick.

Martha needs to go away soon. She could/should have died at the end of last season. It's just stretching everything too thin, the storyline has outlived its usefulness.

I wouldn't change a single other thing this season. It's been amazing.

I agree on Martha. Not only is she annoying (to the story line and in reality), she is just an ugly woman that I hate seeing on the screen. I think the best way to let her down is notify her that "Clark" was killed in a car wreck while on assignment or something. That way, nothing bad has to happen to a person who really was a pawn unwittingly sucked into the events of the operation.

    Martha's not ugly.

No, Martha could pass for very fine '60s MILF.
