The Americans on FX

My show-induced fetishes are all Elizabeth-related. Thanks to her, I now have a thing for mom jeans, Russian accents, getting my ass kicked and crowbars.

 

If you list the character traits of most of the American characters, we are pretty much two-faced scumbags.

This seems to be the first time we are seeing a scumbag Russian character, and the reason he is a scumbag is because he has been Americanized.

 

I assume that Claudia is playing a game on them and she somehow is behind the killings.

After all he has been through, is Stan that in love with Nina that he would give information to the Russians? That seemed unlikely to me.

 

I don't know much, but I do know (partly from personal experience) that you can never underestimate the lengths to which a guy will go if he thinks it will get him laid.

Claudia is the parent and grandparent of the agent killed and the children. My guess

 

Hadn't thought of that, but a real possibility

 

Possibly related to one of our main characters as well?

 

I think grandma killed them or had them killed.
She wanted to frame the Navy guy and have him offed so there would be no inquiry.
It would've ended there. Navy guy killed agents; Elizabeth and Phillip killed Navy guy. A neat package.

 

Yeah, because Clark definitely is the good guy in his marriage with Martha.

 

But that is his job. The others are doing things outside of their jobs. He would not be 10 miles of her if it was not for Mother Russia.
