The Americans on FX

I discovered this show on Hulu this weekend and holy motherfucking ish.

I don't know if it can sustain itself. There's too much big stuff going down every single week. But for a season or two, I think it's going to be epic.

I couldn't have imagined Keri Russell aging so well. She was nice in the past, but with a little bit of a rough edge and the ability to kick your ass, I'm completely smitten.

 

I wonder if they'll get into Robert Hannsen. He arrived at the DC office of the FBI in the early 80s.

I have enjoyed watching this show, though it doesn't fit my schedule well (and no DVR).

It looks like they are putting the shows on the F/X site a little sooner now because after missing ep. 2 and having to wait until the next Wed. to watch it, I missed the last episode and was able to see it on Sunday.

 

Hadn't thought about that. That'd be a good twist.

Guess it would have been too much to make the FBI neighbor Hanssen from the get-go.

I took a 'Reading Russian' class in college but dropped it about two weeks in.

 

Catching up on this show on demand; have to say, I'm hooked.
