Henry gets any taller, next season John Thompson is going to have a recruiting visit to the Jennings house.

At least they don't have to hide stuff this season. Last year it was Keri's pregnancy and Keidrich's broken leg.

That's one of the reasons Henry appears so much taller. Last season no one saw him standing.

You REALLY won't like her in Season 3, Episode 9. :)

Shame on Philip and Elizabeth for not leveling with Paige about the grain mission. You have a chance to tell her the truth (which can only help you gain her trust in the future), and make her feel a little better about her country. This information --- we were wrong, America is trying to do something really good --- coming from you, would be huge for her. And you blow it, knowing how shitty she feels about everything around her.

Obviously I'm missing something, but if Stan was able to more or less blackmail the CIA into abandoning the Burov mission, why can't he wield a similar hammer to keep his job? "You dump me, and I'm going public!"

Great line from Gabriel about Paige: “She doesn’t think the world owes her happiness, which is not a small accomplishment growing up in this country.”

I guess Claudia is coming back, which most will cheer. But I will miss Gabriel's smooth, down-to-earth demeanor.

And finally, it looks like the cast is shaping up for the spinoff, "AfterMericans", starring Oleg & Micha & Martha & Gabriel, with Arkady making the occasional guest appearance.

It's been a pretty slow burn this season.

That made the correct decision to kill her off, but I do miss Nina.

Too bad Gabriel couldn't have said what he said about Paige in the final scene while Elizabeth was in the room.

The Stan gambit still makes no sense.
Stan says he killed the Russian and threatens to go to the press: I would've arrested him immediately and called a press conference to announce that the FBI had arrested a rogue agent who murdered a Russian diplomat.

So can someone explain to me who the woman Stan and his partner are working on is? I'm sure it was made clear earlier in the season and I just missed it. Clearly she is important, but I don't know what her connection to the Russians is if she is currently living in D.C. Is she supposed to be the new Nina?

As Webster said earlier, this is really been a slow burn of a season. Not nearly as much tension as the past, but I've still enjoyed it. I know Gabriel said otherwise, but I was really hoping the Walking Dead lady was a Russian agent working on Stan.

It never has really been explained what angle Stan and Aderholt are working with the new operative, just that she works for the Soviet news agency TASS. I think they are just looking for new sources of information now that Oleg has been sent back to Russia.

There new assistant director assigned them a task of cold recruiting new source(s). I don't recall him setting the parameters of it beyond that, and Stan bellyaching that it was an inefficient use of time and dumb assignment.
Which is the irony of the asst. director using that assignment to save Stan, who balked at getting the assignment in the first place.

What Buck said -- they are basically cold calling a bunch of Russian government workers who are located in DC and hoping that one turns into a source.
