I generally watch it on DVR an hour or two after it airs. I could say the same for just about all of my favorite shows.

I don't watch anything, not even 'Jeopardy,' in real time anymore.
    Just live sporting events.

If I'm watching TV and not watching something from the DVR, I'm not really watching, just flipping channels.

I typically do pub trivia with family on Tuesdays and if not, I'm working. So I usually end up catching it on the DVR. I also think I get the East Coast feed, so watching it live is going to be hard for me without making a concerted effort.

And come to think of it, I feel like many of my shows are DVR'd and are not typically caught live.
Except Game of Thrones. That's appointment viewing ...

I watch most things, including The Americans, in real time. I'm too afraid of seeing spoilers.

Philip so wanted to just leave that house, but Elizabeth wasn't having any of that.

Not really easy to root for her these days.

And more than half an episode on a tangent that is connected with nothing else, on top of Oleg's tangent that is connected with nothing else? Producers obviously know they are playing with house money with that extra season in the bank. They are in no hurry to resolve anything this season.

Not only that, but the look on Philip's face in the final scene when Elizabeth said she wanted to go back to Russia was telling.

When she said "let's get out of here," there was that hopeful moment where he though she meant "let's defect and become real Americans." But then it came crashing down.

As others have said, Season 6 is going to be Philip vs. Elizabeth.

The Oleg storyline is so boring. Just completely superfluous.
This season has really meandered. I miss the tight stories and constant pace that made this series the best on TV.
But that main storyline with the Jennings was really heavy. Gut wrenching.

I could have sworn they screwed up Elizabeth's three words of Russian to the lady (Мы это они), which literally means "We this they." But that's how you really convey "We are them" in that language. No wonder I still suck so bad, despite three levels of Rosetta Stone and hearing it every day.

Yeah, unless the Oleg storyline ends with Stan getting into trouble somehow, then it's really been a waste of time.

Even the people they threaten with 15 years in prison think they're wasting their time! :)

And you'd think they were filming these scenes in Russia. It always seems to be winter.

I've kept wondering when the Oleg storyline was going to connect, but it definitely seems like it is only getting further and further from the Jennings storyline. I really like Oleg as a character, but I just don't care about that side of things. Russia has some shady shit going on with the food supply. I get it.

I fucking loved the scene in the dining room with the old lady. Probably my favorite scene of the season. I waffled back and forth the entire time. It isn't her. No wait, it is her. Actually, maybe it's not her. Oh shit, it is her. Total edge of my seat. And the way it ended was just brutal.

Elizabeth shooting the husband first just so she could suffer a little bit longer was the capper.
