Don't know. But I do know that wherever it went, it went there softly. ;D

Some exciting endings tonight. Craig Monroe goes yard in the eighth to give the Tigers their only lead of the game (after he just missed a home run the swing before).

And now Mauer and Cuddyer tie it up for Minnesota

Rightfield bullpen, more of the typical hang-time variety than Cuddyer's. Cuddyer went into the greenery over the wall in leftcenter.

Burgos gets out of it. Royals with the shot to win.

Oswalt trying to match Westbrook for scattering most hits. He has allowed 11 through 5 innings. He also had the honor of having a relief pitcher brought into face him with the bases loaded and two outs. Arizona's Koplove eventually induced a groundout after a 10-pitch at bat.

And Bonds hits a rare homer. It's been so long I can't remember what he is at.

Bartlett scores on a two-out bases loaded wild pitch. KC intentionally walked Mauer with first open, then Dohmann walked Cuddyer on five pitches to load them. Looked like Buck could have stopped the pitch. Never moved to get in front or turned his glove palm up, scooted just inside his right leg.

Hunter then singles in two more.

Nathan has two outs in the tenth...

    That's a winner.

Twins get a big come-from-behind win.

    Fuckabunchatwins!!!

But hey, this year is all about getting a new GM that made sure Glass doesn't meddle, trading spare parts to restock the farm system (especially with arms) and finding out which kids can play. You've got to start somewhere.

All the while, the Royals actually have a better record since May than the Astros. Amazing, but true.

Bartolo Colon has a partial tear of his rotator cuff and he might be on the shelf for the rest of season.
