Yes... the only one who can start a game for the Mets right now had a good outing.

Glavine had a terrible outing for the Mets--his first start in two, three weeks--and New York's National League franchise still won the game. Ooh, fear those 'Stros. They can scrape across a run or two. Three, if they're feeling particularly frisky.

I said it before. I'll say it again. The only N.L. team that can beat the Mets is the Dodgers.

    Very typical of Girardi tonight.

Men on 1st and third in a tie game in the 10th.

    Hermida against Turnbow.

    Hermida builds a 2-0 count.

Yost yanks Turnbow for sidewinding lefty Shouse.

Dipshit takes out Hermida, and replaces him with Robert Andino, he of 62 MLB at-bats, NONE since May, just to get him his moronic lefty-righty matchup.

Andino takes the 2-0 and strikes out.

However, Amezaga gets a two-out hit to drive in the go-ahead run, and Girardi looks great because the team is 1 under .500 again.

    Very typical.

Wait, he changed hitters in the middle of the at bat?

    That's fucking odd...
