    Watching "Get Back" this morning.

One obvious point was how much material was cut out of the original 1970 "Let It Be" movie, including absolute scads of later solo stuff and Abbey Road songs.

And it's very very easy to see how the other Beatles would have gotten sick and tired of fucking "Maxwell's Silver Hammer."

    God, John looks like hell.

Fuck Paul forever for calling the Stones a “blues cover band”.

Well, they are: the greatest blues band ever. Which is not a bad thing.

Stones: Star Wars :: Beatles: Star Trek

    Stones > Beatles
    Star Wars > Star Trek

And the Nerd Wars, they have always begun when it comes to this topic

    I like the Stones.
    Can't stand Mick Jagger.

    It's a dilemma and a curse.

Loved the first part of the documentary. Introduced my in-laws to the rutles afterward.

Yeah, the 2-3 years after Woodstock, the "earthy" or "aromatic" lifestyle was really big among all the big time rockers. It was the mid-seventies before bathing made a general comeback.

Terrific film, partially financed by George Harrison

I love the Stones, but I can’t stand Mick’s stage style. I never look them up on YouTube.
