The youngest, LaMelo, is a five-star recruit. The middle one isn't that good.

Well, he did drop 60 or 70 in a game this last season, so he's still pretty good. It's just that he's 6-5, 6-6 and does not have much of a perimeter game.

Wish I could believe this were a possibility, but the NBA is a fairly soft, hug-it-out, no-hard-feelings league. I doubt anyone will take him to task for his dad's tomfoolery.

Have you watched how they score? Believe me. He isn't that good.

That's if they like you. There are plenty of guys, I'm sure, ready and willing to set some hard picks to prove a point. If there's one thing these guys don't like, it's cocky young punks coming into the league and thinking they're more than they are. When the superstars want to prove a point, they'll Lonzo might gain a level of respect in a year or two, but next year is going to be brutal.
Like I said in an earlier post, with the way LaVar has called out LeBron, LeBron is going to absolutely destroy Lonzo the first time they play. Wouldn't be surprised to see him go 50-15-10, with a couple of swats into the stands for good measure. It'll be like on he playground when the older, more talented kid is taking it easy all day, looks bad when someone scores on him and starts talking trash, and then he decides to play for real.
LeBron isn't the hero we deserve, but he's the one we need.

No. And in the CIF state playoff against Bishop Montgomery, he only played on the left side of the court on offense. And barely played defense. He is a bizarre player.

He wouldn't be going to UCLA if his older brother weren't around.

When LeBron first plays against him next year, it's going to be Pippen v. Kukoc at the 1992 Olympics situation.

I'm not saying I wouldn't enjoy that, I just don't see it. Every rookie is a cocky young punk who thinks he's better than he is. Yet name one who was destroyed for it? Also, it wasn't Lonzo who was talking junk. And don't you think LeBron has bigger things on his mind than showing up some 19-year-old rookie? If Lonzo is foolish enough to open his mouth, I'm with you. But that won't happen, so the wild pack will merely sniff him, psych him out, and move along.

On a day-to-day basis LeBron has bigger things on his mind. On a Tuesday in early December, maybe not as much. It's a way to hype up a meaningless early-season game, especially if it's against a crappy team.

Maybe so, but he did average 33.8 points a game for one of the top-ranked teams in the country. And LaMelo and Lonzo don't play D, either.

This. Just a little something to get him pumped a little higher for the game.

The first time Lebron posts him up, or the first time he tries to get in front of Westbrook with a head of steam......that will be must see TV.
