So summer league is not a good long term predictor of how a player will turn out?

It's just sports. If Ball is the bad guy and hated so what. He gets what his dad wants which is attention. And as trump showed, the heel wins. So it's just sports and if people root for him to be the next Magic Johnson, let them. And if some want him to blow out his acl in his first game, let them. It's entertainment not real life

I get that. I just find JC's two weeks masturbation festival over what is essentially Cactus League baseball amusing.

 

I'm not the one who said he sucked after one summer league game. I also don't think his summer league MVP means a damn thing.

 

I didn't say he sucked. I said I suspected he's more sizzle than steak. THESE AREN'T REAL GAMES! Do you think Durant or any of the established players give a fuck about their performances ere? They're in Vegas to play some blackjack, tag some strange and not blow out an ACL.
