Hope they wind up with a team that actually pays its players on time. Not exactly a given in several leagues overseas.
I think it was an ESPN piece that made this point, and it's a good one: The Ball family saved Alford's hide. While he won't miss any of them, he will also realize the pitchforks were headed directly for Pauley Pavilion and that last season, led by the eldest of the Ball siblings, curbed the mob's enthusiasm.

    This line was eye-catching:

"Ball attempted 61 jump shots off the dribble at UCLA, and none of them were shot going toward his right. Zero!"

Why didn't college defenses catch on to this? Just push Lonzo to his right and he can't shoot off the dribble At. All.

Who is keeping these stats at HS games?

Chino Hills were state champs in the big boy division the year that all three played. That's no small thing in CA. I am guessing their games are video'd.

61 shots over 36 games isn’t a lot though. Maybe college teams did force him right.

Isn’t that a pretty simple shot chart? We had a manager keeping those in junior high.

So, like some of us suspected, the youngest Ball isn't going to UCLA.
