That's LaMelo. LiAngelo is the middle.

Jimmy Kimmel would not be impressed with the normalcy of either name

Fun stuff. The dad is challenging UCLA and the NCAA.

After rival school USC raised questions about the brand's site, according to LaVar, UCLA asked LaVar to remove Lonzo's picture and videos that feature him. (A USC spokesman says UCLA told them it was aware of the site, and was working to resolve any issues.) He did so, but says he drew the line at UCLA's request to take Lonzo's name off the About Us section. "Violation or not," LaVar says, "if it's really that serious, take my boy, I'll come get him right now. See if you can win the NCAA championship on your own."

LaVar Ball's attack on amateruism worthy of praise

So I went to the Y to play ball tonight and all the kids were talking about Melo, playing like Melo. I assumed they were talking about Carmelo Anthony. Then one kid says he's 6-2, so he's only an inch shorter than Melo. Oh, maybe they're talking about Melo Trimble?

Nope, these kids are obsessed with the youngest Ball brother. Crazy.

    I think that's a misplaced strategy in a half-court game.

To be honest, I like Melo Ball. He has a fun game. The only people who like Carmelo Anthony are old farts and knick fans who think that the Patrick Ewing era was some great time in the NBA.

Best analogy I've heard so far....the one that's going to UCLA next year.........he'll be there 4 years.

Yeah, got to admit I was initially surprised Anthony would still be that popular among 14-year olds, but was really surprised LaMelo Ball is already a thing out here.

I'm a year older than LeBron, and obviously Ball's not the same prospect as him, but me and my buddies who liked hoops were checking out LeBron's games and highlights on the web even back then, which was 2002ish.
