The CVS I go to has a coupon that could knock it down to $625 a month, still way too much.

When I first started the drug I was told the copay was $20 a month. Nobody said anything about it being a two-month courtesy and the copay would skyrocket after that.

Shame on me for not reading my policy carefully enough when I signed up for it, I guess. Still, something that big really should have been explained to me when I was put on the drug.

My girlfriend said I gave up too easily and took it upon herself to call Express Scripts. She got them to agree to a three-month supply delivered to me at 10 a month. My doctor has yet to return the prescription to them. That may happen. That may not.

I’m seeing my doctor on Thursday. We’ll see.
