Just saw a clever Saturday Night Live skit. Toonces the Cat could drive a car. Well, turns out we assumed he could drive a car. Many cat lives lost. Coming up after the break, Toni Tennille.

I know in the world of on-field sports apparel that Nike is king but give me an old school Starter jacket for my team any day of the week.

One day the travelers in this country will discover the hidden gem that is Amtrak and you'll never be able to get a seat again.

    Whatever happened to the Flobee?

If you're looking for a funny and underrated holiday movie to watch this week I highly recommend Dutch.

Why does Erin Andrews need a spokesperson to defend her comments about making stuff up? I've never heard of a journalist using a mouthpiece to do damage control - and it working.

Whatever happened to Z-Brick? You knew you were in a quality rec room when you saw that on the walls.

Frank Reich has had some bad luck with quarterbacks lately.

    Kissinger - interesting guy.

What's the deal with Spotify? I want to hear music by Sinatra, Tony Bennett, you know, the greats - and they feed me Perry Como and Andy Williams?

Aisha Tyler took over for Drew Carey and Whose Line is it Anyway never skipped a beat. If you want to talk all-time improv, give me Ryan Stiles.

    Larry King - Holiday issue

I know It's a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Story will get all of the attention, but the best Christmas movies for my money are Holiday Vacation and Bad Santa.

You know you're old when you actually hope to get socks and underwear as gifts.

One of the best things about the invention of the internet streaming devices is the ability to go and watch the Christmas episode of old shows, like my good friends Jackie Gleason and Jerry Van Dyke in their classic episodes of the Honeymooners and Coach.

One of the worst things is how its ruined the old school traditional shopping experience. I know Amazon and eBay offer convenience, but give me a Wednesday night of hunting for a parking space at the mall while I go find the perfect gift at Macy's then finish off the day with a cold beer and a hot cup of French onion soup at Friday's any day.

If you've never listened to the Lou Rawls Christmas album, you're missing out.

Of COURSE! Kelly Clarkson's "Underneath the Tree" is a ripoff of Mariah's "All I Want for Christmas is You!" but Mariah ripped off "All Alone on Christmas" by the inimitable Darlene Love.

Is it just me or is Hunter Biden a LOCK to play Mitt Romney in a movie some day?
