I dunno, though … I’m willing to stipulate that they can’t handle math.

The NYT tweets this hours after it was proven the employment figures released this morning were erroneous, if not cooked.

Between this and the Cotton op-ed, it’s becoming evident the NYT is flipping to Twitchy.

Is there a more misleading term in news these days than “bankruptcy?” Pier 1 declared it and is being dissolved. Hertz declared it and they’re still trucking along. Which one will Brooks Bros. be?

Worked there the summer after my freshman year of college. The employees were robbing that store blind.

Until a few years ago Brooks was the only place to get three-button French back underwear shorts (not boxers).

Once you try them you'll never go back to elastic waistbands, trust me.

Usually when a retail chain declares bankruptcy it is an opportunity to get out of some bad leases. Given the brand recognition of Brooks Brothers I suspect they keep on trucking with a reduced store base.

I wonder if eventually they just sell the name and make lower-quality garments to get into mid-range retail. Seems like a move a lot of formerly high-end brands have made.
