Home Depot is about twice as far from the cabin as Lowe's, but I find it a much better experience on the whole. Last night, one guy helped me find the power sprayer aisle and two others helped us with shingles and toilets (which sounds like a medical issue). Plus the two cashiers were friendly, too.

I’ve always found Lowes far easier to navigate than Home Depot.

Exactly one Walmart employee seems to carry the key thing needed to get razor blades off the hook. Purchase not recommended if you're in a hurry.

Correct. And there’s only one Walmart employee who has the electronics keys, only one with the FreshPets food keys, &c. &c.

2000 Honda Civic EX. Bought it for $9,000 with 48K miles on it in 2009.

Microville's Home Depot is about 15 minutes away, through two of the worst intersections in town. We go there all the time it seems, and I groan when my wife says it's time for another visit. But they have what we need, things are easy to find, the workers are helpful and the price is competitive, and we can bring the pooch inside. There's just no better alternative.

My wife never stopped making fun of me for taking video of my Civic turn over 300,000 miles by a cornfield.
