It's almost like all his policies are just populist nonsense, with no connection to reality and a tendency to fall apart when subject to even the tiniest bit of scrutiny.

Which is why he's filling his cabinet with yes men who will never subject him to the slightest bit of scrutiny.

What, you mean tariffs don't work?
Of course, the mouth breathers gonna breathe.

Experts think the tariffs are likely to increase inflation and hurt consumers, USA TODAY reported.
Agriculture leaders in North Carolina are also concerned about retaliatory impacts that could limit their overseas markets and thus lower the price of their crops.
Conversely, supporters of tariffs, like the Coalition for a Prosperous America, say they bring business and jobs back to Americans while also serving as a revenue source for the country.
Nick Iacovella, senior vice president of communications for the coalition, pushed back on economists’ claims, saying it’s “completely ridiculous that we continue to have economists say that tariffs are 100% passed through to consumers.”

Election's over. Price of eggs is quite copacetic with the MAGA crowd now even if it's over $5 a dozen.

One thing I’ve realized is how wildly egg prices vary. “Expensive” eggs around here mean they’ve reached $3.
