    Maybe....buried deep.

What's the first thing you think of with Nixon? Perhaps starts with a W?

Looks like Mark-o had to buy a ticket to go to last night's Pens game.

This isn't about making Ted Kennedy into a saint. Madden's comments were offensive. If you need an actual explanation of why they were offensive, you are beyond help. And this is a man with a very long history of offensive comments. He had been told by his employers that he had to tone down his act to keep his job and he failed to follow that instruction.

Shhhh, no use using logic or common sense on this thread now. It's beyond that.

    And he wore red!?!

Is there any doubt he did that so he'd stand out in all the white shirts?

Once again, the president of the "oh so clueless" club weighs in with a point that has nothing at all do to with the topic at hand.

Nobody NOT ONE PERSON has said what he said about Ted Kennedy wasn't offensive or that Madden didn't cross the line.

We've move the discussion into a more general discussion about what is fair game even if someone is sick......Please follow along.

None at all. Hell, why not just go all the way and wear a Red Wings jersey?

Doubtful he paid for his ticket given all of his close frieds within the organization

Um -- I'm not sure but I'm guessing a 400-pound slob with white hair likely didn't need to wear red to "stand out"........

    Wrong again, Zag.

That is what you want to talk about because you have tried every approach you can think of to change the topic. You tried to argue that Madden should not be fired and on that point you have gotten your ass kicked, so you keep trying to move the discussion elsewhere.

You keep trying to argue that it is ok to go after Kennedy because he's not a good guy. But nobody is saying his failings are not fair game. That doesn't mean it is ok to wish that he would be assassinated.

My post fits very much in the topics of this thread. You just keep trying to switch into more general discussions because on the main point you keep getting your ass kicked. Madden's behavior was indefensible and, given his track record, he absolutely deserved to be fired.
