CFA is entirely dependent on the quality of the individual piece of chicken you get. A good quality piece means you'll get a good meal. But if the texture isn't right, which happens rarely but still too often for my taste, it ruins everything. As Spencer Hall put it, you then feel "the red-assed anger of someone who paid just slightly too much for fast food."

CFA sandwiches are just a vehicle to get some glorious CFA sauce into my mouth. So the most important quality the chicken can have is "can you spread CFA sauce on it." If so, you're golden.

Chick fil-A customers will fuck each other over in a heartbeat? How? Like, they cut the line?

Or, do you mean they are just horrible people in general, who don't support ObamaCare or something?

That sounds sort of pornographic, at least when I read it.

I'm guessing everything you read sounds pornographic.

You people eating all the time at CFA must make a lot of money; it's about a third more expensive than any other fast food place.

Funny, Chik Fil-A blankets Midwest and BTN programming with commercials.

Yet, there is one (1) CFA location in the entire state of Michigan, and that's at a small-university food court, effectively inaccessible to the general public.

This thread has made me think back to the extremely limited McDonald's of the late '60s, when we moved to a Chicago suburb that had one (they weren't all over the place back then).

To order, you walked up to an outdoor counter and spoke to an order-taker behind a screened-in window. No indoor seating or walk-in area. There might have been a few picnic tables in front of the restaurant. That was it for seating.

"Main course" options: Basic hamburger, cheeseburger, fish sandwich and Big Mac (which was added around 1968 or so). No Quarter-Pounders until the mid-70s, as I recall.

Fries were the only side option (apple and cherry pies were added a few years later). I think they only came in one size back then.

Shakes were chocolate and vanilla, with "shamrock shakes" for St. Patrick's Day.

Drink options were Coke, Sprite, root beer, orange soda and coffee.

No breakfast until the Egg McMuffin was introduced in the '70s (by then, practically all McDonald's had an indoor area with seating).

It was around this time that Ray Kroc attempted to introduce a pineapple "Hula Burger," was failed miserably.
