I don't know what that means.

And, I'm guessing the blueberry ketchup is top middle, not top left.

    Blueberry ketchup. LOL.

    Food truck blacklash:

Andreas Pizza owner Mario Gambino is fed up with food trucks. Last Tuesday, when a cupcake truck parked too long in front of his Lowertown restaurant, he ran outside and screamed at it to leave.

"They're only supposed to be here two hours," Gambino said. "But sometimes they stay four or five hours and no one comes to check. It's annoying."

For Gambino and other St. Paul restaurateurs, the food truck trend is getting to be too much of a good thing. They say the trucks take away business, hog precious meters, make too much noise and don't play by the rules.

"They park right in front of my door," Gambino said. "It's like they're toying with me. My business is down, and you've got someone selling food right in front of you, and they don't pay rent."

Next is Grant Achatz's (of Alinea) revolutionary new restaurant that will totally change concepts every 3 months.

Their first menu was Paris 1906. (Set in both time & place.)

Their current menu is a Tour of Thailand.

The Chicago Reader is out with their review:

There's also a sidebar with an interesting note about how they prepared for this menu while executing the previous one:

This is great. An out of town, vacationing reporter, breaks a story that was sitting right under the noses of the big city reporters:

This weekend's menu for the joint I went to last month:

I ran into the chef at his meatball truck this week. Asked if I could get in next month when my parents are in town.

He said he'll make it happen and has forwarded the follow up email I sent him to his assistant to confirm it.

    Pretty excited to go back.

We've been to the Chicago entry, Ruxbin. It's a Korean fusion kind of place. We went when it was pretty new and had some buzz, but didn't have to wait long for a table.

It was good, but while I'd be willing to go back, I haven't felt a need too.

    Here's the Tribune's take: http://www.chicagotribune.com/features/food/stew/chi-ruxbin-on-bon-appetits-top-10-restaurant-list-20110816,0,6785214.story
