Wait until she adds "from a certain point of view."

And this is why ANH is still the best film in the original trilogy - it's the only one where they didn't get to cheat.

Sorry, DW. Captain Phasma is Lando Calrissian's baby mama.

Only if we read the Shattered Empire comic book miniseries. I'm just waiting on them to make some mention of him growing up with a special tree from the Jedi Temple.

    Isn't "Shattered Empire" canon?

Yes, it is. I'm just saying quite a few people who would have seen the movie wouldn't have bothered to read it.

This was my assumption. He's definitely been beaten around and had a few parts replaced. Am I imagining that I had a Chewie action figure in the ROJ days that had a backpack filled with C3PO parts?

I took the red arm of C3PO as a way of saying "These guys weren't frozen in carbonite the last 30 some-odd years."

Probably not. In Empire Strikes Back, when Lando betrays Han and company; C3PO is basically disassembled for parts or something of the sort. Chewie finds 3po and puts most of him in a backpack.

I believe I had that toy as well. Either that, or I just smashed up a C3PO toy and strapped it to Chewie's back.

I read somewhere (maybe on this thread) there will be a standalone comic ... err, graphic novel ... that explains C3PO's red arm.

The toy existed. Came with a plastic mesh style bag for Chewbacca to carry him around.
