I'd be all over that thread. Greatest show ever in my mind.

A much better, yet subtle, Batman reference. This is one of the best scenes in the show's history.

I should say, the shows are so different (and not in the terms of live humans vs. cartoons). The Simpsons one-liners/short scenes hit quick. I love the longer Seinfeld monologues/dialogues.

On my way to Alabama, I called by friend, a fellow Simpsons fan, imediately when I saw the wigsphere in Knoxville.

And I always wanted to go to Hollywood Upstairs Medical College so I could be like Dr. Nick Rivera.

If I recall correctly, that's the same episode where the four kids go to see the movie "Naked Lunch," and on the way out, Nelson laments "I can think of at least two things wrong with that title."

I'm nauseating to everyone around me every time I've been to Knoxville because I use every usable line from the episode during my stay.

    Those include:

-"It's a choice between DisneyWorld and Knoxville!"
-"I must have spent our last 10 dollars on this Al Gore doll!"
    - "A cup holder! Bart, we've got to stop and get a cup!"
    - "I didn't think he was gonna do "Moon River," but bam! Second encore!"
    - "Oh! We've arrived in the vast cornfields of Canada. How much further to the grammar rodeo?"

    How could I forget:

    Homer's brain: Dental Plan!

    Homer's brain: Lisa needs braces.

  8. This from the Lisa Loves Nelson episode, a highly underrated piece of work:

Lisa: [reading] "Nuke the whales?" You don't really believe that, do you?

Nelson: I dunno. Gotta nuke something.

Cletus (holding a tattered pair of boots): You might could wear these to your job interview.

Brandine: And scuff up the stage at the topless dance bar? Nah. You best brang 'em back where from you got 'um.

    Cletus: OK.

(throws boots back over a telephone wire)

Cletus: Back you go to wait for a woman with less discriminatin' taste.

From the episode when Homer is Mayor Quimby's bodygaurd.

"Then we went to Krusty's to get another bag of money and I ordered a double-double but they gave me a double-double-double-double."

From the episode where Kearney has a kid.

Kid: I sleep in a drawer.

Cletus (holding up a pink cutoff T-shirt with the words "Classy Lassy" printed on the front): Hey Brandine, you can wear this shirt to work.

Brandine: Aw, Cletus. You know I gotta wear the shirt what Dairy Queen gimme.
