I listened to the album when it was on at a friend's place and hated it all, minus "Lip Gloss." I will agree with you about the remix. But, I thought the Avril Lavingne remix was on Lavinge's
    "Girlfriend" track.

That's another one. "Girlfriend" by Avril Lavingne.

I just heard the remixes online and downloaded them. No idea whose album they were on.

I know. I said I downloaded them. I also was the first one to mention them.

What part of that said "I've never heard the song, please link it for me?"

Just thought I would put the song out there for other people's enjoyment.

    It's a catchy tune.

Thanks for posting those, Buck. I've seen them both a few months back, but I never get sick of them. And it's got nothing to do with her looks. Especially in the live cut of "Different People," she's an insane set of chops on her. It makes me wish I saw No Doubt in their prime.

And they only waiting about a year to cover The Vandals' song. Both tracks are good, but I actually like No Doubt's version better. I like Gwen's voice a lot, and I love The Vandals. However, the ska breaks the tie; those horns are awesome.

No shame here ... I have No Doubt's "The Singles 1992-2003" and love it.

If I had to pick one song that strays outside my, um, comfort zone, it's "Dancing Queen." I like most 70s music but never got into disco, except for a few ABBA tunes. Guess I'm just a sucker for a good pop hook.
