The ice bucket challenge

Yeah, that's awful. Thoughts and prayers for everyone.

 

There's a video going around with the top 10 challenge blunders and some of them border on frightening with the way heavy buckets are falling on heads from more than 5 feet up.

 

This is so damn tragic, but I just can't get over the idiocy of it.

 

Yeah, I had a friend who wanted his kids to dump the Gatorade bucket on his head and surprise, they dropped it and the open part hit him in the face.

Patrick Stewart, apparently having a little fun with the folks who are donating money and dumping ice water on their heads rather than just one or the other.

 

The staff of Hollywood website, the Wrap, took the ALS challenge, and challenged the Hollywood Reporter, Variety, and Deadline.

But when editor Sharon Waxman turns over her bucket, there's no water in it. She just totally fakes it, while her staff does it:
