    Good luck on the interview.

    Be yourself & be confident.

Try to get a commitment tomorrow. You don't want your proposal/project/whatever to linger and get kicked around.

If they appear to be hesitating, try to get a little bit of work from them at first, kick ass, and grow the account.

Don't lower your price. If they want you, and your price is fair, that won't be a breaking point.

Again, good luck, and I hope you don't mind the unsolicited advice.

I....I don't even know what to say to that.

Wait. I go to a four day hippie festival in the summer and......

    Nope. Nothing.

You can't imagine how often that movie gets quoted in a sales environment.

You know, I was thinking...since Moddy trusted us enough to help him with this...maybe we should all go with today?

I mean, we wouldn't wear hardhats or anything like that, but we probably all have white shirts, right? I'll get the bus, someone pick up some donuts.

Killick, I am already feeling like crap.

That picture just sealed the deal, and not in a good way. :( Now I'll have nightmares about polyester leisure suits.

Moddy, best of luck to you. I'm sure you'll do just fine and your clothing choice sounds great.

Oh, Jeez. Didn't mean to question your ability to imagine.

It's just that sales guys love to quote from that movie. If you've ever had to sit through a sales training session, you'd empathize.

When I was a teenager, I read Tip O'Neil's book. He talked about how you not only had to present your case, you also had to ask people -- sometimes on an individual basis -- for their vote.

It's the same way in business. You can make your case, but in the end, you also have to ask them for their business and get a commitment.

Hoping Moddy did well and will come tell us all about it.

So where the hell were all you all? I thought you were my friends. I saw this and got excited. I stood outside waiting.
I MISSED THE DAMN APPOINTMENT! You could have been there in 15 minutes (I assume you met in Tahoe).
    Cripes.

    C'mon! What happened?

You wouldn't be joking if it didn't go well, right?
