I can't see him selling out more than 5 shows there. Real chance that he won't even sell out all 3.

He made a few records before Born In The USA as well. May want to look into them. A couple songs weren't bad.

Nope. There isn't the buzz that the way that there was for the past two ESB tours. It is a hell of a difference between selling 20k at CAA/Izod Center and 60k at Giants Stadium. That's a ton of casual fans who need to attend.

Look, he played 13 outdoor shows in the NYC area for the Rising tour and I was at 12 of them. I'll go regardless. So will another 7-10k per show. But his fanbase of non-crazies who got on board during BITUSA is five years older. They have seen him a couple of times over the past few tours and might not go again.

And after a ton of listens, I think that there is exactly one excellent song on the CD -- "Long Walk Home". "Gypsy Biker" is a notch below and the rest (including the wildly overrated "Terry's Song") are at least a couple of steps down.

I was at only 10 of those 13 (missed 2 at GS and the middle show at Shea).
I'll go to as many as I can get to. However I think Giants Stadium/NYC and probably Philly are the places where he'll be able to sell out more than 3 nights at a stadium. In the NJ/NYC area it's because it's a Bruce show. The thousands of casual fans who just want to hear the hits will go just because it's Bruce.
When he did his acoustic tours in '95-'96 and in 2005 there were people asking "where's the band?" expecting to see him with the E Streeters despite the words "solo acoustic" being printed in the ads and on the tickets. People will buy tickets just because his name is on the ticket.
Philly is a Bruce hotbed. He was big in the Philly area before he was big in NYC. The diehards know that the rarities and special shows usually happen in Philly, so fans from around the country (and the world) make it a point to try getting to the Philly shows.
There's no way he'll sell out 10 shows at GS like he did in '03. But I can see him selling out 3, maybe 5. Despite being a better album, Magic isn't as popular an album as The Rising was.

ESJ -- I'm guessing that we'll get 5 in NJ and 2 in Philly.

If the wife lets me get to all 7 I'll hit the century mark (100) in terms of Springsteen shows attended.

I'm at 64. Doubt that I'll get to 70 on this tour -- baby W. number 2 is due at the end of June and I can't see many roadtrips permitted.
