I think that's the true testament of this album: How it will be received during the summer. To me, it sounds very much like a good summer rock record.

Considering he first played Long Time Comin' on the Joad tour, it would have to be from that era.

    I know -- but it wasn't on a studio release until D&D.

Well, I finally saw my first show. :D

    It was excellent.

Some of the fellas are showing their age a bit, but, all told, a great show that me, my old man and my kid brother all enjoyed.

great job, zeke. i love hearing broooce virgins check in. 8) 8) 8)

as i've said before, i was a broooce naysayer until i saw him live for the first time at "no nukes." i told my friends who had tried in vain to sway me, "i understand now."

don't know if his shows now hit a first-timer the same way -- he is almost 60, after all -- but i believe you can get an idea what the band was like in its heyday. 8) 8) 8)

Looks like a great set list too with Prove it, Darkness, and Jungleland!

I was actually at the show before that one, so no Prove It, but personal highlights were Badlands, Reason to Believe and Jungleland.

Thunder Road also feature a special guest appearance by Omaha's Conor Oberst, and was really cool.
