In Toronto, man, it had to be "Badlands" or "Tramps like us, baby we were born to run...."

I don't like the Hungry Heart sing-a-long, mostly because I don't like the song.

Anne Murray? Bob and Doug? Geddy Lee? Take off, eh!

Oh yeah, and I dig "Crush On You".

holy shit, that's awesome. He came back after the house lights went up?

If memory serves, the Hartford Civic Center banned such post-encore performances after Prince did it in 1984. house lights went up, everyone left, and like five minutes later Prince pulled a Bruce and said "Come back!" and did like three more songs. A stampede followed and HCC officials were way pissed. I was 10 or 11 and wishing I'd been there.

I'm seriously thinking about selling my tickets. No The River, Jungleland, Thunder Road, Darkness on the Edge of Town? None of my four favorite songs on that list.

    I have great tickets, too.

That would be a big mistake, Simon.

First of all, you never know what the set list will be. While at least 13 of the same songs will probably be played every night (songs 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 14-18 and 22), anywhere from 9-12 songs change on a nightly basis. And we're talking a combination of classics and rarities. All of the songs that you have mentioned have been played numerous times on this tour. He's pulling tour debuts all of the time. He's taking requests off of fan posters. In the last three concerts alone, he played Atlantic City, Trapped, None but the Brave, Rosalita, Darkness, 10th Ave., Lost in the Flood, Jungleland and For You.

Second, Reason to Believe and Long Walk Home/Badlands alone are worth the price of admission.

Third, it is Bruce, the greatest concert performer in this history of American rock. He and the ESB are on top of their game. This tour is the equal to or better than every ESB tour since the Darkness tour.

    Simon,

I saw that show. There are 30 songs I wish he had done, but all the ones he did were great.

He and the band really are on top of their game. I am not a big fan of Glory Days or Dancing in the Dark, but they really rocked on those.

And remember, Clarence is 65 years old, Danny Federici is still being treated for melanoma and doing only partial shows, Patti has missed large chunks of this your, Max might not be able to take so much time off from the Conan show if Conan replaces Leno...

In other words, this could be the end of the E-Street Band as we know it... even if Bruce and Steven will still keep going.

Yeah. What'll we do without Patti?

    Simon --

All four of those songs were on the setlist at the show I saw.

    Keep your ducats.
