B&W amateur video of State Trooper and Keep the Car Running can be found here:

(note: that since its two Arcade Fire fans who were doing the filming there are a few "Holy Shits" shouted at the start (or end) of Keep the Car Running plus a "oh my god, what the fuck" audible as well)

reports are that Arcade Fire left the stage before BTR

Missed last night's MSG show and I'm hoping and praying they drop tickets for tonight's show so I can go. I'm presently ticketless and don't feel like going in and trying to find a ticket outside the venue.

"Badlands" ended the Toronto set, with "Radio Nowhere" as the opener. For me the show really took off with the killer trio of "Reason To Believe", "Candy's Room" and "She's The One". From the looks of the handwritten set list posted on his site, we were supposed to get "Cadillac Ranch" and another song that may or may not (tough to read it) have been "Jungleland". "American Land" was a great closer too.

Looking at that hand-written setlist on brucespringsteen.net from the Toronto show looks like Candy's Room/She's the One was an either or and you got both. That you got Darlington County instead of Cadillac Ranch and that Jungleland, which was written in the encores was dropped.

Would have gladly traded "Cadillac Ranch" for "Darlington County" and getting "Jungleland" would have been awesome.

Great to see that video of them doing "Keep The Car Running".

Badlands is a great main set closer. It may be heresy, but I'd say that it has replaced Born to Run as the definitive Springsteen/ESB concert song.

the streamlined version of Badlands they're doing now is awesome.

It got a major pop on Monday night. My voice was gone at the end of it.

  9. I would be very happy if I never heard "Darlington County" again.
    Pure filler.

It's fun, it's filler, but I like it.
However the one song I don't care if I hear it again in concert or not is "Adam Raised a Cain"

What are you and Wayne gonna do on the Fourth of July then?

Bruce likes to play one extended jam song and to let Soozie show her chops -- I'm fine with either Cadillac Ranch or Darlington County.

I have a bad feeling that he's going to play NYC Serenade tonight while I'm home.
