Kordic was crazy and a steroid and substance abuser. not a great combo. I know some guys who played with Probert who said he was handful drunk or sober.

Remember Leon Smith? Has he been mentioned yet.

Not sure he ever played a game in the NBA.

Probably not the top of this list, but on the roster.

Whatever became of Barret Robbins, the Raiders player who sat out the Super Bowl against Tampa Bay?

"If I face him 10 more times, I'll hit him 10 times. I want to kill him," Jose Mesa on Omar Vizquel.

My hope is to one day write a book about Game 7 of the 1997 World Series. I'm guessing Mesa will not cooperate if I do.

    John Brisker.

    - Regularly pulled guns on his teammates.

    - Was once ejected two minutes into a game for elbowing another player in the face and charged back onto the court after the guy three times before being escorted out of the arena by the police.

    - Was rumored to have been executed as a mercenary in Uganda.

He got out in September after a year and a half. Not sure what kind of support system he has around him, so if you see him, best not to go up and ask for an autograph.

Strange case. Sad case. But one of the all-timers for unstable athletes. The prison time resulted from a probation violation, the original case stemming from a brawl in which he nearly killed a police officer who was trying to subdue him.

ESPN did a story on Brisker a few years back. He is still living in Uganda under a different name.
