With Rodman I'm convinced it's an act. When he was with Detroit the weirdest thing he did was show up at the Palace in the middle of the night to shoot baskets. Then he gets shipped around the league and suddenly he's dying his hair strange colors and wearing a wedding dress.

Rodman once showed up to The Palace parking lot with a gun in his truck, threatening to off himself. That was late in his time with the team, IIRC.

Was it pitcher Rogelio Moret who went into a locker room trance, holding a shower slipper?

    Yes, that was Moret.

Drip confirmed it! Awesome. He was probably there to witness it in person.

    Or, he used Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Moret

Not that it isn't a well-established meme, but seems like a quick trigger here, no?

I didn't cover the Rangers. But why am I explaining this to you? You aren't even in the business. I guess you're just a big fan of my posts and baseball.

Don't be a dick, YF. We got enough of those.

Whoa. Just because Drip has defended you for your ridiculous Penn State posts, doesn't mean he hasn't built a fantasy life for himself, in which he's witnessed all the great events of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.

Drip has done it all. Been everywhere. Knows everyone.

So, I'm shocked he wasn't there to witness Rogelio Moret's breakdown.

This rookie card contains three guys most of you probably have heard of. Then there's Danny "The Sundown Kid" Thomas. Came up with the Brewers in the mid-70s and could really hit but had a few mental problems. Became a Seventh-Day Adventist and announced he would not play between sundown Friday and sundown Saturday. That religion cured him of his woes to the point that after his career he was in jail for rape and hanged himself.

YF, I have experienced a lot in my life and covered many big events. I haven't done it all. I haven't been everywhere. I don't know everyone. And like I told you earlier, I never covered the Texas Rangers. And I didn't defend jr/shot's posts about Penn State. There were some things he and others said that I agree with. There were statements I didn't agree with.
But why am I explaining this to you? You aren't even in the business. I guess you're just a big fan of my posts and baseball. I guess, I dunno.
