    Since I bought it last month, "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" is moving up the charts.

    Leaving Las Vegas ??? I barely made it through that thoroughly despressing (albeit well-done) movie once.

    Some excellent calls here. I especially like The Longest Day and Spartacus. Oh, and someone mentioned the Marx Brothers, which got me thinking that I've seen Animal Crackers a few million times.

    Hooray for Captain Spaulding, the African explorer ...

    I've seen the longest day more times than I care to remember. When my ship was heading to France for the 50th anniversary of D-Day, we showed the movie on a continuous loop for five straight days.

    No kidding.

    By the end I was hoping the Germans would actually get John Wayne.
