Yeah, we're due a landmark death or two before it goes on hiatus.

Next episode watch how few lines Daemon gets. Matt Smith gets a ton of mileage out of staring, scowling, facial expressions and body language. Very few words of dialogue involved. (He'll probably be doing speeches next week since I said that)

I didn't see any mention of the oh so icky scene with Larys masturbating to Alicent's bare feet. The way it went down made it clear that this is an established thing with them - she takes off her shoes and hose, then props her feet up in front of him and turns her face away. I *think* this is Larys' payoff for playing spy and general dirty deed doer for her. He gets the foot fetish fed and plays power games with the Queen while doing so. I hope that there is a particularly grotesque GoT kind of death in store for that slimy bastard.

I doubt this happens, but a fitting end would be Daemon slicing off his foot and leaving him somewhere to bleed out. "Thank me. I've granted your wish to be rid of that."

This also comes after Rhaenys tells Alicent she is just playing into the plans of men and not doing anything for her own good. I think it really emphasizes how much Alicent has no agency in all of this. She’s the Queen, the mother of princes and basically the ruler as Visarys dies. But even then, she has to appease the sick fetishes of a lesser because she can’t get what she needs any other way.

And I would love to either see the foot come off or him get squashed like a bug

So I was half right. One of the boys is dead but I wish this wasn’t the season finale.

I need one more episode to see the war get under way!

When does season 2 come out?

Is it correct that no queen ever ruled Westeros in her own name? Isn’t that canon from GOT?

Everything I've read is don't expect season 2 until 2024.

    It's 2024 ...

Tonight, the people who brought you Game Of Thrones take this Father's Day to remind you what happens when a father's wishes are ignored.

It was ….fun to rejoin the story line. Wasn’t spectacular but hard to beat the original Ep 1 (did they kill the kid in first episode??)

This was a lot of stakes building. A lot of scheming and plotting. But we know where everyone is. Nothing huge has happened in the interim. Feeling underwhelmed but hopeful it will get better.

Otto Hightower is one of the funniest, “you cannot be serious”, monologues in GOT history.
