Actually it was the Hills. They played the song on the Hills like three years ago and all the high school kids went out and bought Journey on iTunes and that was that.

    Heh.

Becoming a manager not only makes you say dumb things in front of large crowds, it makes you snap at Toby.

Best part of the show? Creed looking on the verge of tears as Jim plays the opera music.

That, and Jim asking what kind of car Pam's mother drives (and then saying "SHIT"), floored me.

  8. Is it just me, or was Pam completely, completely out of line from the beginning of the episode to the end? I know they are the do-no-wrong couple, but I had a tough time mustering sympathy for her this episode? (Much like the time she told Roy not to buy her a Valentine's Day gift, then sat around and moped all day when Phyllis kept getting gifts - the fact that Roy didn't buy her one, of course, showing what an oaf he was for not knowing how to play the Valentine's Day game).

How would react if you found out Michael Scott was tapping your mother?

    She was toally wrong.

Jim, as her boss, was placed in a position where he should have writen her up. After marraige, some women get a little more abrasive. She would have never of spoken to Jim that way (multiple times) during the courtship.

He also did a good job as a husband to let the tirade run its course. Did you notice at the end all he was doing was agreeing with her?

This was a fantastic episode on mant levels, and John can play pissed very well.

Pam may have crossed the line a couple of times, but if you were in her situation wouldn't you? I found it totally believable. Especially when she kept getting provoked by Michael's lack of tact.

  12. Maybe I need to watch it again as an instructional video. :)
