It was even better when people would put them out at their desks so they were very visible and the boss didn't get it. So clueless. I'm so glad I'm out of that place.

Either way, I don't feel any empathy for Brent. Ever. With Scott, I do, mainly because I don't think he realizes his own stupidity most of the time, but there are times he knows to man up on it.

Well, if you guys live in a world teeming with people who go on secret missions to steal copiers from other offices, and stage events like Michael Scott's Dunder Mifflin Scranton Meredith Palmer Memorial Celebrity Rabies Awareness Pro-Am Fun Run For The Cure, without a hint of irony, then we'll just have to agree to disagree. :)

Hell, I probably would have shook my head a little bit less if my old boss had done those things than some of the crap he did pull.

Sadly, I worked for a guy like Michael Scott at a Day Camp for like 6 years. I've pondered doing youtube spoofs of some of the crazy shit that went down under this day camp director's watch.

Favorite inept Michael-esque moment came before the end of the year musical. All the parents and families were in the multi-purpose room and the boss steps up to the microphone and said something along these lines.

"Hello and welcome. Before we get started I'd like to say I've enjoyed playing with all of your children this year."

He honestly had no idea he said it either. I don't think I ever had to keep from laughing so hard in my life.

What's supposed to be so funny about that? Seriously, is there some sort of sexual connotation to "playing with your children"?

Pretty decent ep tonight. I like having lots of Darryl in the show, especially when he starts crooning to Life Is A Highway.

Pam's dual Halloween costume was great, as were the multiple "Jokers."

And the Dwight-Andy Cornell psychodrama was hilarious ...

The Halloween costume bits and the Andy-Dwight psychodrama was good. Overall, a subpar episode, IMO.

But Scouter, it set up the rest of the season quite nicely.

The cold open was nonstop awesome, then the episode got weird quick. Michael subplot went back and forth between horrible and hilarious, although it did advance the plot. "Life is a Highway" was great - Darryl always is. Cornell subplot was funny. Jim/Pam/brothers was mean-spirited and uncomfortable throughout.
