I'm sure there are people who liked it. I'm guessing they're not the ones who enjoyed the Chinese restaurant episode.

Guilty. Well, I enjoyed it, but it wasn't a favorite or anything.

Add me to the list that has a bit of an Erin crush. The music video has me particularly intrigued.

There's room to appreciate both, because both are funny.

And you're right, the Jim and Pam stuff represents a natural progression. I saw an interview with the creators, and they talked about how it would be ridiculous for Jim to be portrayed as a smart, capable person and be a paper salesman for 10 seasons. If they're going to be real people, instead of caricatures (some characters, like Creed, exist to be caricatures), they need to do what real people do.

They've already been through the threat of their branch being closed. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if someone were laid off.

Andy's experience with Erin tonight is pretty much my entire dating life summed up in 2-3 awkward moments.

Michael Scott is becoming, quickly, one of the most unlikeable and bad characters on TV. It's like the writers got a little lazy and have decided he's just always going to be a super buffoon, ala Homer Simpson these days.

    Oscar's voice was great.

  12. Did you say that at the end of the episode? It appeared quite the opposite by that point. And I didn't even find him unlikeable as much as just going off the deep end -- even for him -- due to an overwhelmingly stressful situation.
But the way the ending played out revealed -- as we've seen in small spurts before -- that sometimes there's a method to his madness. Showed an actual depth to his character and transition I found brilliant. That last line where he says it's the hardest he worked in a long time was great. That wasn't clown Michael. That was a real person playing a fool to keep his beloved employees from getting overwhelmed. A move the calm, composed Jim eventually found value in.
Fantastic episode all the way around for me.
