But the episode in total just was not up to their normal standards.

I enjoy The Office's awkward comedy, but I'm not sure how I feel about the whole diabolical plan thing.

It's one thing to see Jim and Dwight got back and forth, but this episode didn't make me laugh nearly as much as cringe as Dwight and now Ryan make a crusade to ruin Jim's career. That just seems a little too serious for me. The whole recording device in the duck mallard was funny and played out well, but I feel uncomfortable watching a sitcom where I feel like that plot arc is far too serious for what else has happened in the series.

Or maybe it's just because I have an attachment to the characters and I don't want to see them fail.

I would have enjoyed a final 30 seconds of Jim having someone who does a perfect David Wallace.

I have a feeling Jim knows about the pen.

That's what I'm most curious about. Jim always seems to be wise to Dwight's plans and I have to assume after all that went on with the Employee of the Month, he's got a good idea of what's up. It's a good idea for a new plot arc (and notice that last night's episode was credited to Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky) but just makes me feel more uncomfortable than normal.

I love the Scott's Tots bit. Seems exactly the kind of think Michael would do.

    I couldn't agree more.

Yeah, that was a really good story line. I can't wait to see what happens with Ryan/Dwight vs. Jim because you know Toby also hates Jim and Phylis is always ragging on Pam. It seems the only ones who actually like Jim are Pam, Erin, Michael and David Wallace.

I forgot, Kevin originally applied to work in the warehouse. That was damn funny.

I couldn't handle those parts either. Just too much cringing.
