I agree about the cringing. I've said this before ... to each his own, but I don't think it's funny when Michael's buffoonery really hurts people. There is nothing "funny" to me about a bunch of poor kids getting promised college tuition and then not getting it. Yeah, it seems like the sort of thing Michael might do, but the charm of the series has been that mostly, his dumbassitude does NOT have horrible consequences, as it would in real life.
Hey, if I wanted to see clueless pricks seriously mangling other peoples' lives, I'd go into MY office more than twice a year.

(Ha, ha, boss, just kidding there.)

    This.

It also makes Stanley's bout of hysterical laughter upon remembering Michael's promise one of THE most tone-deaf notes in the entire series.

    Funny episode.

    Phylis was a great Santa.

I bet Michael hires David Wallace to work in the office.

And then there's 12 geese in her car.

    Awesome.

Yeah but Andy came through at the end with the drummers.

I feel like everyone should be pulling for him because he's such a nice guy.

The first eight days are like 30 birds.

"Tranny Claus" was a funny line, too.

"30 Rock" killed, too. It was a great hour.

I assume it's reruns now until the second week of January.
