Given that Andy and Erin just recently started dating, I'm not sure why they'd be getting into details of each other's past now.

It was a good way to reveal that for all her outer sweetness, there's a batshit-crazy side to Erin that apparently comes from growing up in a foster home.

What threw me during the episode, Why was Michael so put-out spending lunch with Erin? Because she's not Pam? Michael is such a people person, it just didn't make sense. Does he think Erin is a crazy person?

I thought the episode was great. Jim's impression of Kevin cracked me up. "Sorry but that show hasn't been on in many cookies."

He has no interest in anything she's saying. She's talking about not being able to handle the pace at a regular Taco Bell after working at an Express. You ever have one of those co-workers who has a million stories and observations and none of them are interesting?

  4. He's not really a people person. He's just performing most of the time. In reality he's self-centered.

Yes. And her first name is really Kelly, but she asked if she could be called Erin (her middle name) to avoid confusion with the other Kelly.

No thoughts on Ryan's un-tied tuxedo tie? :)

This one featured my three least favorite characters (Michael, Andy, Erin) so prominently that I just couldn't get into it. The worst episode in a while. Meredith with the breast pump made me laugh.

FYI, Steve Carrell says next season will be his last (the last year of his contract). Wonder if they'll: 1. Try to entice him to stay by throwing big $$ at him; 2. Try to get him to stay, but only for a few episodes; 3. Try to continue without him; 4. Fold up tents

They can always get Jon Lovitz to replace him. That worked for NewsRadio ... ::)

Wow, I hadn't seen that. I can't see how the show goes on without him. And, as much as I've loved the Office, I'd be ok if next season was their last. I think it kind of resparks the creative writing juices if you know you're writing toward something (see, the West Wing), instead of writing with no end in sight.

But knowing NBC, they'll screw this up. My guess is they'll replace Carell with someone quasi famous and chug through a season 8 that everyone pretends never happened.

Season 8 - Todd Packer takes the office
Season 9 - Dwight takes control
    Season 10 - Jim's Turn
