Maybe it will be an external candidate.

Commercial during tonight's Colts-Redskins game featured a new guy in the office.

Oh boy. Just what they need, another body to cram into the office.

Still think NBC should open its wallet to bring in Ricky Gervais (David Brent) to run the Scranton branch for a while.

I didn't see the commercial, but I know Timothy Olyphant is supposed to be in a couple of episodes as a new guy in the office, so perhaps that's what you saw ...?

Another great episode. Micheal was awesome making his sale and when he yelled at everyone in his office.

And my favorite line of the entire episode: "The thing is we didn't even need him. We have Todd Packer on the road. Oh shit, I forgot about Todd Packer. How do I forget about Packer?"

Loved the episode. I burst out laughing when Meredith had Oscar cleaning the blinds and Ryan on the floor.

Also loved the Josh Duhamel reference. My wife can never, ever keep those two straight. As far as she's concerned, "Tad Hamilton" and "the bad guy from Die Hard 4" are the same person.

I disagreed with Sepinwall's take last week, but I think he's pretty spot on this week in my mind. I shouldn't have liked this episode because it was so far from reality that I just couldn't buy the premise. But I laughed quite a bit. Olyphant's subtle smile when Kelly said he looked like Duhamel was pretty funny. And I enjoyed the frog song at the end.

The last two weeks of this show have been dreadful.

Just caught up on the last three episodes. I'll be much more cised for this show next season. Much more.

I wouldn't say dreadful, but they've just kind of been...there. I feel like I'm watching because that's what I've done the last five years, and because it's still better than anything else I'd watch on Thursday nights. I did get a kick of the throwaway line that Micheal's favorite Glee character is "the invalid". A nice little inside joke/wink to the Launch Party episode.

But I can't wait for Parks & Rec to return.

I thought "30 Rock" was really funny this week, though I know some people don't like when they get too political.
