Sepinwall is threatening to take it out of the regular blog rotation. I didn't laugh once last night.

EDIT: I lied. I did get a small chuckle out of Kevin getting lost in the maze.

Dwight owns a farm. He should know the difference between straw bales and hay bales.

Yeah, I figured he would be a recurring character ... but wasn't he a traveling salesman? Like Packer?

I believe so, yeah. Doesn't he have his own show, anyway? I imagine it would be hard for him to be a regular if he's off half the time filming Justified.

PASADENA, Calif. – Steve Carell will be leaving "The Office" early.

NBC said Friday that Carell will leave with four episodes left in the season. That means his farewell episode will most likely come in April.

As much as they are trying to set up that happy ending, I am no longer invested whatsoever in the Michael-Holly storyline. There is no way that a grown-up could act like a spurned 14-year-old, over and over again, including publicly, and still deserve to ride off into the sunset with the girl at the end. But Michael sets up some little gimmick apology with Creed and Kevin in the room, and all is forgiven and she bails on her boyfriend? It's a tough suspension of disbelief for me.

I did crack up out loud at, "I'm not the one who put the butt end of a piece of broccoli in my mouth just because Michael told me to. Who did that?"

    "Me."

I was never on board with the Michael/Holly shippers because I just can't stand Holly. Poor Amy Ryan deserves better. Her entire character is just a distillation of Michael's most annoying qualities.

Kevin was on fire last night, though. Everything he did was funny.

I know it was toilet humor, but when Kevin made a fart noise, then actually farted, made a frowny face, then the scene cut to Erin doing the cartwheel, leading to Creed's expletive-ridden tirade ... well, I'm not going to lie, I laughed. And laughed. And laughed.

Kevin giving Holly the finger made me laugh.

    The rest? Meh.

Weird to have an episode that, other than the cold open, contained no Jim. Must be filming a movie or something.
