Suppose I'll give this episode a thumbs up, if only for the little things: The inclusion of Jan/Karen, flashback to Michael's hockey/ice skating prowess and of course, Toby's exploding head.

Other than the Woody Allen bit, not a whole lot of laugh out loud moments though.

I guess that ends any speculation Todd Packer will be taking over The Office.

The episode felt like something to give the actors a story to play while waiting for someone to give them a script for an episode of "The Office."

I never get tired of Jim pranks. I've seen 1,000 of them, of course, and I laugh every time. I laughed at the drawer thing, and then laughed at the list of pranks Jim made that appeared to be 100 things rhyming with frog.

They have really, really, really scaled back the Dwight character in recent weeks. You can tell they took a lot of the criticisms being directed at the show to heart.

Just watched it again. That proposal scene is going in Steve Carell's Emmy reel. That was perfect.

Fantastic. There wasn't a part of that episode I didn't enjoy. I think the proposal was handled about as well as any single-episode storyline they've done, and the secondary stories were quick and fun. The magic beans were a stretch, but I thought the end-cap shot made it worth while. Also, like someone else said above, I get a kick out of the pranks on Dwight.

Best underrated moment: When Michael shows Pam the ring, she freaks out, and he says, "you're supposed to spend three years salary, right?"

"And that's how you play Dallas."

Also, Will Ferrell, WILL FERRELL as the new boss? Yes, yes and yes again. I could have only seen him or Gervais as comparable to Steve Carell, this will be fun to watch.

That was awesome seeing Kevin come out on top. Ferrell signed on for a few episodes; he won't be the permanent new boss.

A agree with 21. Got a little dusty for me too with the proposal scene. Right up there with the wedding dance for all time memorable moments. And the sprinklers coming on was a stroke of genius. A little rain must fall on even the most perfect of parades. I hope they live happily ever after.
