I've never seen a final scene for an actor on a long-running series done this well. Even Dr. Green on ER wasn't this good. Loved every minute of the ep!

Point of contention...I don't think this was Carell's actual exit. I think this was just part of the setup. Pretty sure I saw some preview clips with Carell and Ferrell hugging.

Really? Crap. It would have been better to end it that way. But it could be some hilarity with him and Ferrell together.

That was not Carell's last episode. Ricky Gervais is also coming back for the season finale.

Henry's last episode on MASH is the best for me.

While he wasn't in the final scene, when Radar comes into the ER and tells everyone that he's dead -- holy shit.

And, while I think it was done half in spite by the producers, it was still a hell of an episode.

Loved this episode -- first time I can say that in a long time. Echo lots of stuff above: terrific proposal scene; enjoyed all the secondary stuff, even if the magic beans were a little far-fetched; Kevin taking the money and his Dallas crack were great.

That wasn't half in spite, it was full-on. From that point forward, a character who is killed off in a show is said to have been "McLeaned."

Ricky Gervais would be a hoot as Michael Scott's replacement and, considering how plushly the U.S. version lined his pockets, I think he owes the series a year of his working life.

Will Arnett, another rumored replacement boss, has also signed on for the finale.

I really hope it isn't Arnett. I never found him funny on Arrested Development or 30 Rock. I'm still holding out hope for Darryl.

They are losing me on Darryl, for the simple fact that a cool guy like that would never be friends with a dweeb like Andy. I guess they wanted to write the rest of the warehouse out of the show, but Darryl has never fit upstairs.

And just like that, it came to pass that PopeDirk and Big Circus could never be friends. Hate for Gob Bluth? COME ON!
