Question: How come Dwight didn't know who Justin Beiber was two episodes ago, but he now knows who James Franco is?

Come on Office writers, get it together.

Bieber is an internet/teen girl phenom. Franco, thanks to Freaks and Geeks and Spider-Man, is well known to geek circles. Dwight's not exactly a geek, but at times he appears close.

Oh come on! By that theory Dwight would know about Beiber because he is on Twitter all day or something. The writers can't have it both ways. Either Dwight is a huge dork who doesn't connect to popular culture or he's not.

Just read that James Spader, Ray Romano, Catherine Tate, Will Arnett & Ricky Gervais will be in the season finale, vying to be the boss. But only Spader and Tate are really the only ones who have a possibility of remaining on the show.

Loved last night's episode. From Will Ferrell attempting banter with Jim by asking where he was on 9/11, to Erin dumping Gabe as part of her acceptance speech, to the surprisingly touching final song, I thought it all went great.

I've been of the opinion that the Office ran out of steam a while ago, but they've had some fantastic episodes this season. I thought last night was one of the best of the year.

Loved the song, and Michael's reaction as it started: "Something is happening!"

9,986,000 Minutes We actually sat down and did the math. 9,986,000 Minutes That’s how many minutes that you worked here. In costumes, and impressions. In meetings. and cups of coffee. For birthdays, more meetings and email forwards you made us read. 9,986,000 Minutes That’s like watching ‘Die Hard’ 80,000 times. You hit me with your car. You helped me get off drugs. I watch you when you sleep. I forgive you kissing me... measure your life in love!!

I seem to be the only person who didn't like the song part of last night's episode. I found it so cheesy, so cringeworthy that I had to mute it after while.

I found much of last night's show to be cringeworthy. And I'm not one who thought the show jumped the shark long ago, either.

WIll Ferrell ad libbing at the end saved the whole bit.

I liked it. The group was deliberately being as cheesy as Michael and giving him a sendoff that perfectly fit his personality. Not realistic, but appropriate for the moment and good TV.

Song was completely ridiculous, just like the song at the wedding, just like the song at the beginning of last season. When did "The Office" become "Cop Rock"? When I looked up and saw Stanley smiling and singing along, I wanted to throw my remote through the TV. And it kept going and going and going ...
