You must have missed the series finale.

I see people change when they have their first child. I see office dynamics change over years and personnel changes. I can see Stanley participating out of sheer joy Michael is leaving. I can see the inevitability of the downward arc. I tend to like the lack of sentimentality on this show more than the presence of it. All that said, I don't have a problem with post-engagement "The Office."

Maybe I wanted to like this to the end too much. But I did. No jumping of shark; no "the marriage ruined it." It still was must-see TV for me. That may or may not end after this week. I don't know, but I don't want it to.

Still wondering how Pam managed to get through airport security without a boarding pass.

The Office w/o Michael Scott is like a car with one wheel. The worst idea in NBC history, and that encompasses A LOT of shit.

That stuck out to me as well right away. Could've added a throwaway line that she just bought a ticket to Albany or something ... and say it was worth it.

Other than the scene with Jim, it left me a little flat. Loved last week's episode, especially the song.

Will Farrell is incredibly not funny and annoying in this role.

the last scene with jim and then the long shot (no sound) of pam and michael sharing a couple of heart-felt hugs -- not too long or overboard -- struck perfectly for me. the latter even made my eyes moisten.

this issue of how pam got past airport security? i give shows like this a pass for minor flubs like this. not the point of the scene. michael had to take off his mike before going through security, so the only way to have those farewell hugs in silence was to get pam through security without explanation.

    i'm fine with that.

I think Pam was carrying her shoes - indicating that she paid for a ticket.

Definitely carrying her shoes. Guessing they'll address it in the next episode.

You can buy a refundable ticket, go through security, come back out and get a refund. It's not that hard.

This. I'm not quite sure what I expected from Ferrell's appearance here, but it was not this.
