The Andy-Erin thing is going to develop Ed Helms' character in the long run more than becoming manager.

At some point, he's going to stop being so much of a buffoon, and the romantic angle seems the most likely venue for that to happen.

But nobody cares about them. Nobody.

My wife hopes they get together. So that's one person.

I wish I did, but I don't. I find her COMPLETELY unlikeable, and Andy works my last nerve. They're my two least-favorite characters on the show (well, Gabe, since he's apparently back) and it's not that close.

Paul Lieberstein explains why Andy Bernard was made the new boss:

He left out one: Ed Helms is the biggest / most well-known actor on the show.

I'm really surprised that any of you are invested in the Andy-Erin storyline. Really surprised. It's the worst in the show's history. There is nothing about her that would be attractive to Andy. I bet the writers wish they could have a mulligan on even starting it.

Uh, nothing attractive about her, except that she's the most attractive girl in that office, right? Rashidi Jones isn't walking back through that door.

God, if you find that simpering stupidity attractive, then there's not much I can help you with.

She's more ditzy than incredibly stupid to me, and he's in Scranton, PA, where the office crew's idea of fun is going to Chili's after work. I don't think there are a slew of options there, and she's definitely cute. He could do worse in that very office - Meredith, Kelly and Angela are all insane.
