The series ended after Jim and Pam's wedding in my mind anyway. Put it out to pasture.

No, she's terrible. Also, the American Office in general is much better than the British edition, although I loved what they did with the ending of that (both the actual end of the documentary and the follow up).

I'm too lazy to scroll very far back to see if anyone has said this, but my wife bought Mindy Kaling's book, "Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns)." It's pretty cute. I am generally opposed to 32-year-olds writing their memoirs, but she doesn't take herself too seriously. Basically a writer who took a minor cast role in the beginning, as did some of the other writers. Not much like Kelly Kapoor.

She has some stand-up floating around out there that's pretty solid, and she usually brings it when she's a guest on a talk show, which admittedly isn't that often, given her relatively low celeb status.

Creed's, "Jinx, buy me some coke," to Robert California was brilliant on so many levels. A diamond in what has been a rough season.

Aside from that and Toby's line that HR is useless, last night's episode was a complete waste of 30 minutes.

Yes! There was nothing funny about Andy's humiliation. The British woman remains unfunny. And I was reminded yet again that somehow, even though he directs a lot of the episodes, B.J. Novak is playing a character they long ago ran out of things to do with. Now he just pops in every now and then to be an unfunny, self-focused asshole.
I thought they actually had a strong start last night with Phyllis and the "rain cliche countdown." But things deteriorated quickly.

I liked the Ryan stuff, but hated the Andy/British woman stuff.

The strange thing, I had several Facebook friends independently post about how awesome last night's episode was. I won't say I went into it with high expectations -- I'm on this ship until it sinks, but I don't take much pleasure in watching any more -- but I was disappointed. I wonder what in the hell they were talking about.

"He does not like that wall."

    Another gem.

You know how sometimes you happen to catch a rerun of a classic show coming on and you get a little excited, but then you quickly realize it's an episode of Andy Griffith with Howard Sprague as a main character or Happy Days post Ron Howard and you're like "oh, nevermind," and you find something else to do?

In 20 years I'm going to come across an episode of The Office and see it's one with Nellie and suddenly lose interest.

I thought Thursday night's episode was the best one in a while. Maybe it's because I was just starting a mini-vacation from work so I could have been in a better-than-normal mood, but it had 4-5 laugh-out-loud moments. If they can churn out episodes with that kind of consistency, I'd be more than willing to get back on board.
