I think it was meant to hint that Dwight is taking an interest in Kelly now that he knows of her criminal past in juvie.

  2. Yes.
I wanted to punch everyone involved.

    I loathe Kelly's character.

A Dwight/Kelly relationship would be unlikely, but comedic gold.

    Kelly: What's the theme?!
    Jim: It's your birthday.
Dwight: Frosting. (at the same time)

Just finished watching it via DVR. Great episode.

For a second there I wondered if Pam was going to slay the presentation and then consider seriously doing public speaking because she was good at it. Luckily, this isn't like every other sitcom ever and they avoided that predictable turn.

The whole Angela thing was just precious. And Creed's line about getting "a kid for that" was gold.

Could have done without the Michael/Holly drama but loved him taking her sleeve and the line about "Does she ever talk about me?" was awesome.

Some good stuff, but it kind of fizzled. The look on Michael's face after Pam said Holly still had feelings for him was really good acting. Maybe some of the best on the show.

I thought the Angela licking her cats stuff was over the top, and a bit too divorced from reality, even the quazi-reality of the Scranton/Dunder Mifflin Universe.

And sorry, Evil Thy Name Is... but Kelly is a great character. I like what she brings to the table about 1,000 times more than what Andy brings to the table.

Michael was way too over the top last night. I just couldn't suspend my disbelief that much. Eventually those sort of antics would get his butt fired.

    Thank you.

Andy just chews up scenery. Any scene with him is guaranteed to have me checking my watch. It may be funny at some point, but the odds of that are much slimmer. Kelly does one-liners, Andy just yammers on.

I used to hate Andy but that character really grew on me mostly because of his lameness.

I loved Kelly's choice of a nap because she'd "been watching TV all week." Then she goes under the table to nap and says, "I'm too excited to sleep." Just awesome.

Three out of 5 ... I agree with Headbutt on Michael. Cutting the sleeve off her sweater? That was just stupid. And no way Dwight should have been slapping Kelly on the ass. Good, not terrible, nowhere near great episode.

I'm not sure you have to go back to the first season, Junk, but it would definitely help if you wanted to understand the show. The characters, by this point, are basically developed and established, and I definitely don't think I'd think Michael was funny if I hadn't seem him from the beginning and had him grow on me. Dwight too.
