The Oklahoman: Great example of using the online medium

    It was Columbia Journalism Review, and it was almost entirely because of their status as a mainstream conservative newspaper with mostly (all?) conservative columnists.

    It was in 1999, and it was mostly because of the conservative slant (there were a few other areas they attacked, too if I remember right). The prayer on the cover was part of that, the lack of a liberal columnist another.

    They've taken a lot of steps to rectify things, though I think they still have a strong conservative slant. Sports-side, though, they put out a quality product in pretty much every facet of the operation.
